Footnotes
In the Nuprl source texts notes to be attached to subtexts can be indicated (here's one) which are converted to footnotes in Latex. When the note is too large (SAMPLE) to fit readably along with the annotated subtext, one instead refers with a hyperlink to another text object, whose contents will be rendered in Latex as a footnote.
