Title Page

A title page can be included for the article, and may include a(n optional) abstract. The form is

SimpleLatexMode: <Article Title> <Authors (free form)> <date> CONTENTS <contents> ABSTRACT <text of abstract>

The text of the abstract and the contents may be filled in with the null word "" (which can be created with the editor command `(c-t)' `{(tab)(return)}'). The special case where both are empty is

SimpleLatexMode: <Article Title> <Authors (free form)> <date>

This is converted into title page with optional abstract in Latex, and whether the table of contents gets generated depends on its being both non-empty and on a setting in the Article Profile. As explained in Article Structure, the contents determines labeling of sections to indicate sectional structure, and if omitted then sections will be unnumbered.

The title page used for this document (see Example: Latexing This Document) can be found in "Example: The Title Page for This Document". IF YOU CAN SEE THIS go to /sfa/Nuprl/Shared/Xindentation_hack_doc.html
